Is the LogicWiz GenAI Course Really Free? What Costs Nothing and What Doesn't

By Pooja Goenka · 2026-10-11

Yes. The LogicWiz GenAI course is completely free. All 51 lessons in 11 chapters, the code labs that run in your browser and the built-in AI tutor cost nothing, and we never ask for a card. Chapters 1 to 3 open without an account. From chapter 4 you need a free account. Two extras sit outside the course: a certification exam, which is also free, and live doubt sessions with a tutor, which cost ₹99 a session and are optional.

That is the short answer. The rest of this page is the detail, because "free" is the word AI courses use most loosely.

What is free

  • All 51 lessons, from Python basics to RAG, agents, LangGraph, multi-agent systems and MCP.
  • A hands-on lab on most lessons, running in a notebook in your browser. Nothing to install.
  • An AI tutor you can ask while you are stuck on a lesson.
  • The certification exam, LogicWiz Certified GenAI Practitioner: 60 multiple-choice questions, 75 minutes, 70% to pass. Passing gives a certificate anyone can verify.

What needs an account

Chapters 1 to 3 you can read and run without signing in. From chapter 4 you create a free account so the course can save your progress. It takes an email address. There is no card step, now or later.

The exam opens on LogicWiz Exams, which has its own sign-in.

What costs money

Only the live doubt session. If you want a person to look at your code or explain a concept on a call, you can book a tutor for ₹99 a session. The lessons and the AI tutor do not depend on it, and nothing in the course is locked behind it.

Who this is for

You write a little Python, or you are willing to start from the first lesson, which covers variables, types and f-strings. You want to build an assistant, not only read about one. Across the course you build one assistant called Nova: first a Python program, then RAG over a document set, then a team of agents with LangGraph, then MCP tools.

It is probably not for you if you want a recorded lecture series. The lessons are animated explanations followed by a lab.

Common questions

Do I need a GPU? No. The labs run in your browser.

Is there a catch after chapter 3? The free account, and nothing else.

Can I stop and come back? With an account, your progress is saved.

Who runs it? LogicWiz, a company based in Bengaluru, India. See the About page.
