Best placement preparation websites in India, compared (2026)
Last updated · By LogicWiz Team
Short answer: There is no single best placement preparation site, because they differ in what stays free and who they are built for. PrepInsta and GeeksforGeeks are strongest as free reading libraries, FACE Prep and PlacementPreparation.io mostly sell through colleges, and placd and LogicWiz are built for students who sign up on their own. Pick by what you need to practise (aptitude, coding or spoken interviews), and check each site's current terms before you pay for anything.
Students ask us which placement preparation site to use, and the honest answer depends on what you need. This page compares six of them on the same questions: what is free, what is paid, how you pay, and who the site seems built for. We read each site's own pages and one third-party comparison on 21 October 2026. Terms change often, so check each site before you rely on this page. LogicWiz is one of the six and we are not neutral, so every claim below links to its source and we say plainly where another site is the better fit. We are not affiliated with any site named here.

Sources for the table: placd's comparison page (written by one of the sites it compares, so verify its statements on each site), PlacementPreparation.io for colleges, FACE Prep and LogicWiz pricing.
PrepInsta
PrepInsta is best known for free articles on each company's reported test pattern, plus a paid Prime plan that holds the full mock tests and courses. Good for: reading what different sources report about a company's test before you attempt one. Check before you buy: what exactly Prime includes for your target company, and its refund terms.
FACE Prep
FACE Prep publishes free company guides and sells paid training programmes, frequently through college partnerships. Good for: students whose college already runs a FACE Prep programme. If your college does not, check whether a programme is open to individual students.
PlacementPreparation.io
PlacementPreparation.io says it is free to use with no subscription. Its page for colleges describes auto-scheduled mock tests that match company patterns for firms such as TCS, Wipro, Accenture and Zoho, with dashboards for placement officers, and says pricing is given on a demo call. Good for: colleges that want a managed placement-test programme, and students whose college has joined it.
placd
placd is built for students who sign up themselves. Its free account includes a 100-question sample path, a 2-minute readiness check and one full AI mock interview, and its paid passes are one-time payments that do not auto-renew. Good for: trying one AI mock interview before paying, and students who want to avoid subscriptions that renew.
GeeksforGeeks
GeeksforGeeks has a very large free library of articles on data structures and algorithms, computer science subjects and interview experiences, and a paid Placement 360 course. Good for: learning a concept from several written explanations. It is a reading library first; it is not built around timed company mock tests with a percentile.
LogicWiz
LogicWiz puts four things in one free account: every lesson (generative AI with hands-on labs, data structures and algorithms with step-by-step visualisers, system design and low-level design), one full company-style mock test a day with your percentile, a weekly spoken and typed interview with Aria (our AI interviewer, who asks follow-up questions and scores each answer), and a weekly practice test built from a job description you paste. The paid plans raise those limits. Good for: students who want the aptitude test and the interview in one place. Where it is weaker: we have fewer years of content than the older sites, and our company patterns are as reported by public sources, not official TCS, Infosys or Wipro material. Try the free mock tests and practice, the mock interviews or the free courses.
How to choose
- Start free, in this order: read the official page for your company's test first (the TCS iON NQT page for TCS), then practise one topic at a time with free question banks. Our free resources list covers what is free and what "free" includes.
- Practise the real format: use a timed, company-style mock close to your test date, and review every wrong answer.
- Practise speaking: interviews are spoken, so rehearse out loud with a friend or an AI interviewer. See how to practise for an interview on your own.
- Pay only for a gap you have found. If one weakness is costing you marks, a paid plan on one site is usually enough. Check refund and renewal terms first, and prefer one-time payments if renewal worries you.
Frequently asked questions
Which is the best placement preparation website in India?
There is no single best. Choose by need: a free reading library (PrepInsta, GeeksforGeeks), a college-run programme (FACE Prep, PlacementPreparation.io), or a self-serve account with mocks and AI interviews (placd, LogicWiz). Whichever you pick, check the current terms on the site itself.
Are there free placement preparation websites in India?
Yes. Most sites give a free part: PrepInsta's articles, GeeksforGeeks' library, PlacementPreparation.io's free access, placd's sample path and one AI mock interview, and LogicWiz's lessons, daily mock and weekly interviews. What stays paid is usually the full mock series, courses or higher limits.
Do I need to pay to crack a campus placement?
No. The official test notification, free question banks and free AI or friend-led mock interviews cover most of what you need. Pay only for a specific gap, such as a full mock series for a test you are about to take.
Which site is best for AI mock interviews?
Compare the free trial on each. placd gives one full AI mock interview on signup, and LogicWiz gives a weekly spoken and typed interview with Aria on the free plan. Try both for the same role and see which feedback you find more useful.
How do I check whether a site's claims are current?
Open the site's pricing or terms page on the day you plan to pay, and check refund, renewal and what the free tier includes. Prep sites change plans often, and so does this comparison, which is dated at the top.
