Placement and interview preparation guides
Plain, free guides for students and freshers preparing for campus placements and their first job interviews in India. Each guide starts with a short answer, then gives the full plan, and links to free practice you can start today. Exam patterns are quoted from the sources that report them, with the date we checked.
How to prepare for TCS NQT in 30 days: a week-by-week plan
Spend weeks 1 and 2 on the Foundation topics (numerical, verbal and reasoning), week 3 on timed sectional sets plus Advanced aptitude and coding if you want Digital or Prime, and week 4 on full mocks and reviewing every mistake. Practise each sub-section on its own 25-minute clock, because prep sites report that you cannot go back to a finished section, and answer every question, because TCS iON says there is no negative marking.

Infosys placement preparation: aptitude, pseudocode and interview
Infosys fresher hiring is reported as an online test, then a technical interview and an HR interview. Prep sites agree the test has logical reasoning, mathematical ability, verbal ability and pseudocode sections each on its own timer, so practise those four sections under sectional timers and prepare your final-year project and one programming language for the interview.

How to practise for a job interview on your own
Pick 10 to 15 questions you are likely to be asked, answer each one out loud while recording yourself, then play it back and check it against a short checklist (did you answer the question, give one specific example, and stop within about two minutes). Fix one thing, answer again, and once your answers are steady, practise with an AI mock interviewer or a friend so you get follow-up questions you did not prepare for.

Aptitude preparation for placements: topics, formulas and a study order
Placement aptitude tests cover three areas, quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning and verbal ability. Learn quantitative topics in dependency order (number system and percentages first, because ratios, profit and loss, interest and mixtures all build on them), practise reasoning by puzzle type, and do verbal every day because reading speed improves slowly. Learn a topic untimed, then drill it on a timer.

Free placement preparation resources in India (2026)
You can prepare for campus placements in India without paying for a course. For aptitude, use free question banks and company-pattern mock tests; for coding, LeetCode's free problems, HackerRank and CodeChef; for computer science subjects, NPTEL (free to learn, with an optional paid exam for a certificate); and for soft skills, TCS iON Career Edge and Infosys Springboard. Practise interviews out loud with a friend or a free AI mock interviewer, and read the official notification for every drive you apply to.

HR interview questions for freshers with sample answers
The HR round checks whether you communicate clearly, have thought about the job and will stay, so the questions are predictable: tell me about yourself, why this company, your strengths and weaknesses, a challenge you handled, relocation and shifts, and your questions for them. Answer each in about a minute with one specific example from your studies, project or internship, be honest about anything in your record, and end each answer by linking it to the job.

Best placement preparation websites in India, compared (2026)
There is no single best placement preparation site, because they differ in what stays free and who they are built for. PrepInsta and GeeksforGeeks are strongest as free reading libraries, FACE Prep and PlacementPreparation.io mostly sell through colleges, and placd and LogicWiz are built for students who sign up on their own. Pick by what you need to practise (aptitude, coding or spoken interviews), and check each site's current terms before you pay for anything.

Free AI mock interview tools for freshers in India, compared (2026)
Huru offers unlimited free AI mock interviews and MockAI says it is free in Hindi, Hinglish and English, while interviewing.io gives a free AI interviewer for coding practice and Aced (which absorbed Pramp) offers free peer practice on monthly credits. LogicWiz Interviews is also free for one typed and one spoken interview a week, but we are one of the options and not a neutral judge. Pick by the round you fear most (spoken HR, coding or system design), use two tools, and check each page's current terms before you rely on a limit.

Free TCS NQT mock tests online: what is free and what is paid (2026)
TCS iON's own National Qualifier Test page offers a free sample test, and LogicWiz offers two free timed TCS NQT-style mocks with a percentile and no sign-up. PrepInsta, hitbullseye, GeeksforGeeks and Time4Education mix free material with paid full series, and FACE Prep's pattern page does not say whether its mock is free. LogicWiz is one of the options and not neutral, so check each page's terms before you pay.

Free ways to learn data structures and algorithms with visualizations (2026)
VisuAlgo and the USFCA animations are free, long-running tools that show how data structures and sorting algorithms move step by step, Algorithm Visualizer is an open source site that animates algorithms from code, and LogicWiz's visual lessons add an in-browser editor with auto-judging for the problems that follow. Animations teach how an algorithm works but not how to write it under time pressure, so pair a visualiser with a problem list such as NeetCode or LeetCode. LogicWiz is one of the options here and not neutral.

How to choose an online test platform for coaching institutes in India (2026)
Choose an online test platform for a coaching institute by testing it against your own exam first: the exam screen, negative marking, section timers, rank lists, regional-language papers and proctoring should all work on a paper you already use. Eight platforms are compared below from their own pages (Testpress, Edmingle, Classplus, Teachmint, ThePrepLab, PaperShala, SpeedExam and LogicWiz Exams), and they differ most on language support, proctoring depth and whether you get a branded app. Ask each vendor for a trial on one real paper and the full cost of a year before you sign.

Free and low-cost proctored online exams for colleges in India (2026)
For a college that wants free or low-cost proctored exams, the realistic options are Safe Exam Browser with Moodle for lockdown, PaperShala's free proctoring, and trials or demos from Mercer Mettl, YouTestMe, SpeedExam and LogicWiz Exams. Free tools usually cover lockdown or basic webcam checks, while live human review and recordings come with paid platforms. Whatever you pick, tell students what is recorded and why before the exam, and keep the data only as long as you need it.

AI interview tools to screen technical candidates (2026)
An AI interview tool screens technical candidates by asking every candidate the same role-specific questions, following up on weak answers, and scoring against a written rubric that your team can read and override. HireVue, Karat, CodeSignal, HackerRank, Mercer Mettl, Interviewer.AI, Apna and LogicWiz Interviews take different approaches, from human-led interviews to AI-led voice calls. Choose by what the first round must prove, check what is recorded and who sees it, and keep a person in charge of the decision.

Free online quiz competitions for students in India, November 2026
In November 2026 you can play several free online quizzes in India: the government quizzes on MyGov (cyber safety, cyber security awareness, consumer law, industrial R&D) run 5 to 15 minutes each with certificates or cash prizes, and TCS InQuizitive is free and online until 31 December. LogicWiz Open is a free 7-day team quiz from 13 to 19 November, about 10 minutes a day, where you play for your college, company or coaching batch and the top players and teams win LogicWiz plan time. LogicWiz runs the Open, so we are not a neutral judge; check each organiser's page for current dates and rules before you register.
